Heavily Pregnant At A Summer Wedding, Reviewing My Outfit Choices And How I Coped

Being Heavily Pregnant At A Summer Wedding,

Reviewing My Outfit Choices And How I Coped During The Day

I very recently attended a family wedding, which was really lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the evening. However being heavily pregnant there were some precautions that I needed to take for my safety, and also some decisions I had to make that some people might not have considered for themselves.

I wanted to write this blog post for two reasons, one is to review the items that I bought for my outfit and why I chose them. And reason two is because I hadn’t thought about some things until I was being a sensible adult and realised that quite a lot could be over looked. So I am sharing my experiences with you all today in this honest post.

Firstly I want to talk about my outfit. I’ve been quite lucky in regards my pregnancy, I haven’t put on a great deal of weight and I am mostly bump! However this proved tricky for me when I was shopping for maternity wear dresses…

Most places have taken into consideration people who may have gained weight all over, especially on certain areas like the bottom and boobs! However this isn’t me, and I tried on several beautiful items that sadly just made me feel like a sack of spuds! They gave me no shape or were too baggy in most areas…

So… then I decided to do a BooHoo order of two of their Maternity dresses, and there was one dress that fitted me well and I finally got some of my confidence back. Any pregnant woman will tell you, your confidence goes down after the second trimester, because everything makes you feel like your bump is massive (even if it isn’t) and I just wanted to flaunt my great figure and my bump too! But I just had to find something that made me feel like that.

Out of the two dresses I had from BooHoo the first fitted perfectly when I had my shoulders back and I stood tall, it was however a little low cut with a v-neck style. I knew how I wanted to fix this and decided to take myself off to New Look.

New Look always have what I want, I very rarely go into the store and come out empty handed. What I wanted to buy was either a crop top, vest or cami top that was pretty and high neck, and something that suited the dress too! My plan was to wear the top underneath and it look like it was just part of the dress. I wasn’t disappointed when I found the perfect top, and not only was it a great price, but I also got into my pre-pregnancy size because (as I mentioned) I haven’t put much weight on on my chest at all…

Finally I needed a pair of shoes to go with the dress and a cardigan if it were to be a cooler day. It was a good job that I bought a nice cardigan in the end because it turned out to be a rather windy day! And as for the shoes… well I got these gorgeous pregnancy friendly flat ballet shoes half price! What a successful shopping trip.

My ensemble of these items ended up looking like this… and I was very happy and comfortable (which was my main aim!) with what I chose. This is the practice dress up, I had leggings on in this image but swapped for tights on the actual wedding day. I also decided to add a white rose accessory clip in order to hold the dress snugly to the top underneath it.

I really like the pretty lace on these shoes, they aren’t just attractive though they are so comfortable to wear too. The price was excellent and I would happily wear them throughout the summer with any outfit they would go with. I already own many different colours and styles of this exact fitting shoe, I always go back to New Look when I need new versions, usually this is to match one to an outfit that I don’t already have a pair for.

These cardigans from New Look wash and wear really well. Would you believe me if I said I owned fourteen of these now? I have collected this style for over the past ten years, and whenever New Look release a new colour I usually buy it! I wanted this lovely light pink to go with my outfit and I am always pleased with this type of cardigan.

I was impressed with this cami top. Due to my baby bump I wouldn’t be able to wear it on it’s own this summer. However underneath other clothing to fill in gaps like I have done with my dress for this particular outfit, it works perfectly. It fitted really well and was comfortable too. Being mostly cotton I expected it to be of a good quality and it certainly was, it washed well too.

How I Coped During The Long Day

My main tips for coping during long days out are to carry a water bottle with you. In the summer it’s even more important to stay hydrated. Make sure that you take regular seated breaks to avoid any unnecessary swelling of your feet and ankles, especially if it’s a warm day. Make sure those who are attending with you know how to help you if you need it.

It’s a good idea to bring your hospital bag and notes with you in your vehicle if you’re going to be a long way from home for more than a few hours. At my stage of pregnancy I could easily have gone into labour, better to be prepared. Also look up your nearest hospital or maternity unit just in case!

I made sure that my outfit was lightweight overall and that I was comfortable from my head to my toes. Nothing was too restricting or tight. Another top tip of mine is make sure you do a test run of the outfit before the day, that way you can see if there are any issues with it that you may want to fix.

SS18 Trends and How I Wear Them

SS18 Trends and How I Wear Them

I have been reading up on the recent Fashion Weeks and I can safely say there are some trends that have been used the past few years that are coming around once again. This is great if you purchased things of this type last year!

Some of them never get old, you always see Florals, and usually see some Lace in the summer. But a couple of summers ago everywhere you looked were Stripes and Nautical themes, well guess what they are returning – and I’m so glad!

Here is a dress that I bought last year from Dorothy Perkins, now that Stripes are back in I feel great wearing something that is on trend. Plus I could still fit my bump into it too – huge bonus! I paired the dress with flats and a long necklace. A nice plain jacket won’t distract from the stripes theme.

Florals seem to be huge again this year, and not just small amounts on other sorts of designs, they dominate some pieces completely. I have seen dresses and tops that are covered in floral patterns, you cannot go wrong with flowers in my opinion.

Here I am last week in a Maternity Top from Dorothy Perkins. This pretty navy tee has pink floral details and is very flattering for me with bump. I paired it with my maternity leggings from George at Asda and a Pink Boyfriend Cardigan from New Look to help bring out the colours in the flowers.

There are Spots and Polka Dots in a variety of trends this SS18 as well, and the dots all seem to vary in size. I have already picked up two items that I will wear later in my pregnancy with a theme similar to polka dots, one is dots and the other looks as such until you get closer and realise they are tiny hearts – so cute!

Checks were also back in, especially over at London Fashion Week, as were Wide Leg Trousers, Pastel Shades and Ruffles and Frills seem to be making a come back too. If you’re lucky enough to be going on holiday this summer you’ll see lots of swimwear with pastel colours and ruffles I have no doubt!

Another trend I have seen is Embroidery, this was huge last summer, appearing on jeans, shirts and even boot! It looks like it’s back again with even more intricate designs in some high street chains. I bought T-shirts and Jumpers with various Embroidery styles. And I also created my own shorts with patches on!

I’m glad I invested in a couple of items last year, though I’m not sure how much longer they will still fit me. I will be searching for bargain buys in Maternity sections over the internet in the coming weeks. I will review those items in a separate post though so that this one isn’t too long.

Thank you for joining me for this fashion blog post today. If you’ve come across any awesome bargains let me know in the comments.

Clothing That Is Comfortable During Pregnancy, Maternity Wear Reviews and My General Clothing Hacks and Tips

╰☆╮Today It’s Time For A Pregnancy Clothing Post! ╰☆╮

I want to discuss my general clothing hacks I use to make pregnancy in the second trimester more bearable, and I want to talk about the clothing that I am finding most comfortable during these colder months of the year. Finally I will conclude with some Maternity Wear Reviews on items that I have purchased during January and have now thoroughly tested.

So I am now getting to that stage of my pregnancy where I need to consider what I am wearing. My regular jeans no longer do up and I am finding other clothing honestly pretty uncomfortable to wear, especially while seated. There are some things I can still get away with such as my Tunics, Long Jumpers, Jumper Dresses and stretchy Leggings. But there are other things that I have now decided it’s time to invest in, and I thought I would share my thoughts and experiences in case there’s anyone out there who needs some advice as they too get to this stage of their pregnancy journey.

Sabrina’s Top Tips

You might be looking at your wardrobe and thinking, baby is due then, I won’t be fitting into these items this year. Well fear not, because a few weeks ago I was feeling exactly the same. Get an old suitcase or a storage box and place everything that you love but you know you won’t fit into, inside it. You can always come back to them once you’ve lost some of the baby weight. Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you can’t look good and be comfortable while doing so. Here are some of my shopping tips.

Always try your usual size in maternity wear before the larger size you think you might be. It may come as a surprise, but especially before getting to the third trimester many of us won’t be putting on all that much weight. Your baby grows steadily so you have plenty of time to make small adjustments to your wardrobe. I have still purchased Size 8 trousers for example, just Maternity ones with the added “Over Bump” material. Plus another tip is to always check the sale rails, at the end of line and end of season sales, you may just pick up some bargains. I managed to do just that and will be reviewing those items below.

One shop that I regularly rely on for Leggings is Primark. And the beauty of the sizes of their brand, it seems to me that you can often fit into more than one size. I am a size 8 usually, but I have just bought some size 10 and size 12 leggings that I find fit comfortably over my growing bump. Let me explain why I have chosen these, not only are they are much cheaper than the Maternity ones available online, but also if you aren’t very tall like me then you can usually buy a regular length or a long length style, and find that they will fit just like high waisted leggings – perfect! And they also wash well too being made of cotton or polyester! Mine only cost £3.50 a pair and I got 4 different colours as well. They are great for layering when heading out and for comfort when staying at home.

New Look

When I first began looking at Maternity wear I had recalled friends telling me they had shopped in New Look. I like the brand and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on these first few items just in case I grew out of them. But the weather is so cold in the UK at the moment I really needed to find a decent pair of Skinny Jeans or Jeggings that I could wear out and about, shopping and such.

After a few moments around my local store I realised there was barely any choices, and a lot of it was available online only now. So I settled for the only pair in the shop that I did like, they were soft to touch and also skinny as I had wanted.

They were called Emilee Under Bump Maternity Jeggings at £19.99. Soft material for both the legs and the bump section was why I purchased this pair. They are great on, and the bump part still has enough room for me to grow a little more into them. I was happy with them and hope once the weather is warmer I won’t need them as much. They washed well though too. The leg part was definitely true to size because I chose my regular UK size 8 and a 30″ leg and they were a perfect fit. Highly recommend them, there is way more choice online and I may invest in a blue pair of Over Bump at some point in time too.

Dorothy Perkins

During the January sales I was looking at certain tops but I didn’t want to invest in too many that branded themselves as just Maternity wear. I bought some Jumper Dresses from Dorothy Perkins that have enough give in the middle for a second trimester baby bump. They are soft and will keep me warm in these colder months. I have no doubt that they will also be perfect next Winter while I’m (hopefully) still loosing the baby weight. I have bought many Tunic style jumpers from DP’s over the past few years and find that the plain ones are great for the home and the bling ones are great for going out. I will review these items below and give any links still available.

BooHoo

I did however purchase a couple of Maternity jumpers from BooHoo in their January sale, these looked like regular tunic jumpers until you looked closer, but they had the slits either side to give room for a bump. I feel like I will be able to grow with these, but I could still wear them after I have had my baby as well. To be honest if I wear them right now they don’t look like they are specifically Maternity wear but I know they will become very useful the larger I grow. I was happy with what I paid and if they continue to wash as well as this first fortnight of having them, I assume they will last me through my pregnancy and beyond. I will review these items below and include photos and links where possible.

George at Asda

My final Maternity Wear order came from George at Asda. I really needed some work wear trousers, because I got to the point where any other sort was digging in to my tummy and making me rather uncomfortable. I work full time and I spend a lot of hours on my feet too, so I required something hard wearing, soft and easy to wear but also the correct material for my job role. Our uniform is specific and I needed to rely on the item to be washed several times and worn a minimum of 5 days a week.

I finally found the best looking, most positively reviewed and the best price online, maternity work trousers on the Asda website. George at Asda do have a fantastic maternity range, but most stores don’t stock the items, they are only available online. I had reservations at first because I always like to touch the material and try the items on, this time I just had to trust in my choices. I also had to pay a delivery charge which I thought was expensive, just for the convenience of receiving my items. A click and collect service available 9 days later would not have been suitable for me, I needed them within a day or two because I found I was growing overnight.

My order arrived by courier and was good in that sense, I was updated by email and by text which was very useful. The items themselves were all sealed individually so I knew that the contents were brand new, and I could tell by unpacking them they hadn’t been handled before. I had to guess what sizes I would need, and luckily everything fitted me and I haven’t needed to return anything. I went for my normal size, a size 8, because reviews on the website said most things fitted true to size. The maternity trousers were the items I was most impressed by. The main reason was because of how soft the material was that went over the bump. It was not only comfortable to wear but it was lightweight too and caused me no issues between sitting and standing.

I also purchased some over the bump leggings in a two pack and a two pack of short sleeved t-shirts for comfort around the house when I get a little bigger. I thought these were okay value for money, the materials used made the items soft and they washed well too.

Very soft material and comfortable to wear, the bump part still gives me room to grow into them. Purchased at 13 weeks pregnant and at 17 weeks they already fit way better and room for bump because they are lightly elasticated. Perfectly the right size for both my buttocks and my leg length, I chose my pre-pregnant trouser size and they are a great all round fit. Ideal for the colder weather days and the black looks great when paired with a bright top.

BooHoo

BooHoo: Maternity Mia Side Split Jumper.
Materials: Polyester 95% and Elastane 5%.
Colours Available: Camel, Khaki, Berry, Black or Grey LINK
Price: £15.00

Soft to touch with side splits in the fabric to accommodate a growing bump. I’m a UK size 8 and ordered a UK size 10 of each item. They fitted true to size on my shoulders with the arms ending at wrist length. I thought the overall length of the fabric was good, it will allow me to grow into them but is suitable for this stage and in weeks to come. Both items washed easily and were comfortable to wear all day. The material is quite thin but ideal for Winter layering by wearing a long sleeved thin tee beneath the jumper. I purchased these BooHoo jumpers in both black and in khaki green.

Although the jumpers are very nice and are comfortable to wear they are also very plain in appearance. Wearing a long necklace or a scarf to brighten the outfit up is ideal for days out. Where as I have purchased these for both inside and outside my house, wanting myself and bump to be warm and comfy throughout the next couple of months.

A very nice jumper and overall it is both soft and comfortable to wear. It is more of a Spring colour and length compared to the Tunic style jumpers I purchased (review above) but it is one I could wear around the house now and look forward to wearing in the warmer months to come. I believe there is still plenty of growing room to be had due to the side splits in the fabric, and the length of the arms were perfect for me. I purchased this in a UK size 10.

I have purchased some items from Dorothy Perkins in the January sale which I believe will double up as maternity items. These are all jumpers and in varying lengths. The tunics both have a nice zip detail in the lowest sixth of the material and are fitting on me true to size. I bought size 10’s in order to grow into them slightly but they were already fine around my shoulders. I am lucky enough to fit into the majority of brands clothes UK sizes of 8 and 10.

The yellow and black striped jumper was an impulse buy, I liked the pattern as well as the ruffled sleeves. It’s style reminded me of Peplum and it was a good quality material too. I thought I could wear it for the first few months of my second trimester, before my bump gets too big. It’s a stylish looking item that I would happily wear out with a pair of my maternity trousers. It was in the sale so there are limited sizes left, but it’s comfortable to wear and I would recommend it, the sleeves are a bit different and a nice change and addition to my wardrobe for Spring.

I looked into a variety of trousers that I could wear to my day job, but the place that I kept coming back to was George at Asda. Online they have a range of Maternity clothing at quite affordable prices too. I was drawn in by the price and the good reviews beneath the item. I wanted a pair of trousers that would be comfortable to wear at work all day, that would wash and wear well, and an item that would grow with me in the coming weeks. I decided it was best that I order two sizes, one my current size 8 and the other a size 10 that I could grow into if need be. Better to have both than to order a second delivery so soon.

I was impressed with the quality for the price, and they might be of thin material but they certainly are comfortable to wear, and it means that they dry quickly after washing too.

SS17 Fashion Trends, How To Wear Them This Season And How To Combine Your Current Wardrobe

Welcome to today’s Blog Post, in this piece I am going to be discussing the main Fashions for this Spring and Summer. How you can wear them this season, and how you can combine new items with your current wardrobe to stay on trend.

There are several main trends this year, and the majority of them have been doubled up to ensure maximum ‘on trend’ efficiency. Brands seem to be fusing together different styles to create new ones. I will give you an example, Denim and Embroidery. A lot of companies are now uniting various denim styles with patches and sown on patterns. Of course this relates back to some of the 1990’s fashion trends that saw embroidery on a variety of things, including jeans. But now it seems to be on everything, from T-Shirts to Jackets, Jeans to Coats… Other examples have been gradually making a come back, hinting on 1920’s and 1930’s fashion, with cold shoulders, bardot tops and dresses and of course lots of lace.

I will now list all of the trends that I have come across through research, personal shopping trips and reading about what is appearing on the latest catwalks, so that you can see what I’m talking about. Here are most of the current trends…

✩ Denim and Embroidery ✩
✩ Embroidery and Lace ✩
✩ Denim and Pink ✩
✩ Lace and Cold Shoulder ✩
✩ Cold Shoulder and Gingham ✩

✩ Gingham and Silver ✩
✩ Bold Prints and Glitter ✩
✩ Floral Prints and Stripes ✩
✩ Stripes and Studs ✩
✩ Ruffles and Mesh ✩
✩ Mesh and Sheer ✩
✩ Sheer and Florals ✩
✩ Stripes and Cold Shoulder ✩
✩ Florals and Gingham ✩
✩Gingham and Bold Prints ✩

Now I’m going to talk about a few of the trends that I like the most, and give examples of my fashion and any styles that I myself have worn during the summer so far.

Stripes are a go in my wardrobe at ALL times of the year and in all seasons. I have striped tops, dresses and various other items, striped pieces in my opinion don’t ever go out of style! Check out my latest Fashion purchases on that named category to see what my latest fashion spends have been on. Mainly T-Shirts if I’m honest, some of which are very much on trend right now…

So what I noticed more about this summer more than any other in recent years, was how many brands got on the ‘Floral’s for Summer’ idea. This is a simple one of course, everyone knows how much flowers thrive in the warmer months of the year. Yet it was different somehow. People were combining unusual colours and prints that had never before seen each other. Next time you’re shopping take a look at Floral Fashions…

Let’s get down to some of my examples now, and how I have recently styled them.

✩ Florals and Gingham / Gingham and Florals ✩

I adore Gingham, and until a couple of years ago I barely had any of it in my wardrobe. These Shorts I already did a separate review on, but I wanted to explain why they were so on trend still. They combine two trends, Floral Print and the Gingham Print, in one item. Not only that but depending on what you choose to partner them with, could mean your outfit ticks several ‘On Trend’ boxes in one go!

Shorts from BooHoo (See My Individual Review For More Details)

Here I am in my Gingham and Floral outfit. I love how the flowers really stand out on the pattern.

✩✩

✩ Sheer and / or Mesh in Fashion ✩

Sheer Mesh T-Shirts are also on trend right now, I had this lovely Floral one from New Look. Check out my review of it by clicking New Look on my categories.

✩✩✩

✩ Florals and Bold Prints ✩

A really good example of Bold Prints and Florals are these other Shorts I got also from BooHoo. Comfortable and affordable, these excellent shorts have such a vibrant pattern, and really stand out. I would pair them with a plain black bardot top, a double Fashion ensemble to ensure a great looking Summer outfit.

✩ Gingham / Chequered Print and Bright Colours ✩

I absolutely love to recycle old clothing into new trends. This year I’ve been able to dig out my ‘vintage’ chequered pieces, such as these two skirts. And then pair them with new items such as bold print and brightly coloured T-Shirts. One is around twelve years old and from New Look, the other is around eight years old and was from Primark (and yes I can still fit in them both). Recycling your older items is a great way to stay up to date with the latest trends, plus you never know when items such as these will be in fashion again, sometimes it’s not very long at all!

(Primark Original)

(New Look Original)

✩ Embroidery and Denim ✩

Another trend I particularly like is the embroidery one. I am really getting into this, it brings back all the 1990’s Fashion from when I was growing up. What I actually plan to do is make my own shorts, but I have cheated slightly, and gotten a pair that was already started with patches. I am going to add my Iron On Patches that I have received inside my various Treat Boxes, on to these shorts to make them unique. Here is a shot of them with the patches, but I have yet to decide on my final design.

You could choose to put patches on any kind of Denim item, I liked how these would brighten up the black, but they work just as well with blue too!

These shorts will look great this Summer with either a crop top or with a white tee with very little pattern to allow the embroidery to take central focus.

Another way Embroidery has been used in Fashion in recent months is to line T-Shirts, on either the hems or the sleeves, or both. Here are examples from Dorothy Perkins that I have purchased this year. They go excellent with a variety of Denim colours. Check out my DP section on the main page for my reviews.

✩ Cold Shoulder / Bardot and Lace ✩

Finally, another style I want to discuss is the Cold Shoulder one. As I mentioned earlier in the post, the Bardot style and the Cold Shoulder trend have both been reinvented for modern day fashion, and I have to say I really took to both. I never thought it would suit me, but actually I am happy to wear both tops and dresses. Here is one example, where I have paired my BooHoo Gingham Shorts with a Lace Cold Shoulder Top from Dorothy Perkins.

Here I am in this outfit. I really like combining trends like these to make my own style.

Thank you for reading this Fashion post today, I really hope you have enjoyed reading about the latest trends and my takes on how to make them unique for yourself.

Why I Have Started Wearing More Yellow Clothing And My Latest New Look Purchases

My History With Yellow

When I was younger I wasn’t the greatest fan of the colour yellow within fashion. My wardrobe consisted of only five varieties of colours when I was a teenager, these were a range of blues, purples, browns, reds and of course a large amount of black.

But when I went to University and had regular access to shops like Primark and New Look, I began to branch out and try new things. That included picking colours that I wouldn’t usually do, and styles I wasn’t familiar with to try.

In my twenties my wardrobe doubled in size, and I found that I suddenly had a real enjoyment for fashion. I wanted to create my own styles, I wanted to be on trend but combine areas of fashion together to make my own looks.

Yellow, was a colour that up until recently I only had maybe two vest tops in. For the past five years or so I have tried to make conscious decisions to choose items that are out of my comfort zone to try on. And more often than not, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the results.

My Latest Yellow Purchases

Here are some of my summer 2017 fashion purchases, in the colour yellow predominately, of course. All of the items are from New Look and can be found in store or online. Some items are now in the sale as well so you could grab yourself a bargain if you’re quick!

Yellow Floral Print Mesh T-Shirt

There are some lovely details on the ‘Floral Mesh T-Shirt’ from New Look. It is a little thin but ideal for the warmer summer months. I would recommend you wear a thin tee beneath it, a white or nude would be best so as not to lose the details on the top. The sleeves are a great length, as is the length of the whole T-shirt.
I absolutely love the floral details of this tee, it makes me feel feminine and summery when I wear it. As well as the fact that flowers are on trend, making it a rather ideal piece.
I have worn this with black skinny jeans or pink skinny jeans, with a short sleeved white vest underneath.

Yellow Floral Print Short Sleeve Top

This beautifully detailed top is ideal for summer time. The top is almost like a thin mesh, with a delicate floral pattern spanning all over it. You need to wear this top with a crop top, vest or t-shirt underneath it, because it is so see-through. Ideal for SS17 due to floral and bright colours being so on trend.
I have been wearing this top with skinny jeans and a short sleeves vest or tee under it, it looks great with a black, khaki green or white beneath it to make the yellow stand out.

Yellow Boyfriend Cardigan

I have so many of the New Look Boyfriend Cardigan’s, and I decided to get the Yellow version when I saw it online. I must have double figures of these now, but I like to get new versions, especially ones that are unusual. This one is a bright yellow, and it reminds me of summer sunshine. These cardigans are very comfortable, and they wash and wear very well. They are plain with no pattern, and flat except for the two large pockets which are very handy and useful. The long sleeves make them ideal for summer evenings or as a good layer in the cooler months.

Mela Yellow Lace Tie Waste Dress

The beautiful ‘Mela Yellow Lace Tie Waste Dress’ is currently available at New Look. It has a gorgeous pattern and is comfortable to wear. The tie at the waste is a very good design idea, because it brings the eye across to the ladies waist. Up close the lace details are stunning, and I believe the shape is rather flattering.
This dress needs a delicate wash but is a good piece if you need to go to a late summer wedding or wedding reception. I would pair it with a contrasting clutch bag and heels such as a navy blue shade or a black.

Sabrina’s Christmas Wishlist

Sabrina’s Christmas Wishlist

I’m sure many of you have wishlists, and with Christmas coming up I thought that I could indulge in the products that I would love to get this year. These links and images form the accumulation of items that I would like to be reviewing at Christmas and in the new year.

My first items on my wishlist are to have some more of these incredible makeup brushes from Spectrum Collections! I have the pink and would love some of the others, they are fabulous for me to add to reviewing photographs too, so so photograph-able! And they also put my makeup on so well too and are extremely soft! In fact I could do with a brush cleaner and I hear the Spectrum one is also excellent!

The second items on my list are from Dorothy Perkins. There are these boots and this dress gorgeous that I absolutely adore! There are so many nice items, and on trend looks available on the DP website at the moment, definitely worth a look in my opinion.

I really like these boots as well over at BooHoo! How nice is the detail! (Yes I have more Boots than shoes and love them all year around!)

Another item I really like the look of right now is the Makeup Revolution Advent Calendar, how great does this look? I still hope to get some chocolate, but I like these products, and would like to own more, perhaps I will be lucky enough to open this sort of calendar this year… (Purchased By Me – Review Coming Soon)

Something else I discovered after someone shared it on Twitter was this amazing lamp from Very.

I would love this in my home http://www.very.co.uk/eiffel-tower-table-lamp/1600079375.prd

(I purchased this lamp at the end of November, and I love it! Full review coming soon…)

New Look also have some great looking Boots out this season, here are two of the ones that I have got my eye on… both ankle boots…

On my wishlist for reviewing is also this fabulous shelf from over on the Treatbox UK website in the ‘shop’ section, it is so unique looking I just love it! I had to dream what I might place upon it, a pot filled with Spectrum Brushes, a frame and so much more! Do you like it? I love it!

The final items I would love to own and review this Christmas are these pieces from Cherry Diva! I adore anything turquoise or anything with feathers or arrows, that sort of thing…

Another fab idea for people for gifts this Christmas would be anything with a subscription box, I have already reviewed Secret Scent Box, and I currently review Treatbox UK on a monthly basis. I would love to try other boxes in the future, such as Birchbox or Glossybox or perhaps anything else relating to beauty/fashion/perfume/food, some of my favourite things!

Thank you for reading this post today, I wonder if I have inspired any of you for your Christmas lists and gifts for friends or loved ones. Check out the links for the items and brands featured in my post today. I am hoping my wishlist will turn into a reality for some of these items and then I can happily review them for you all to see. Until then keep coming back to the blog for more reveals, reviews and honest opinions on products.
