I have been testing this Bath on behalf of being an Argos Tester. This product has been sent to me in order for me to try it out and write about the functionality and purpose of it. My honest review is first posted to the Argos website.
My review is now live and has been submitted and accepted to Argos so I can now share this item with you.
The dual stage Munchkin Sit and Soak Baby Bath has soft blue foam at the back for baby to lean against and the same with a shape at the base too. This surface gives friction for baby’s skin to be against and is designed to help them stay in place comfortably while bathing. The white lump in the base is to keep baby in place as they sit. Their bottom goes behind it with their legs going over the top. It must be comfortable because my son had no problem sitting in it from the first moment we tried him inside.
It has a water full level part way up. Always follow the instructions of use. It is designed for optimum comfort allowing your baby to stay warm during bathing. The whole bath is lightweight and it’s dimensions are Height 38.4cm, Width 41.2cm, Depth 64.5cm.
There are useful warnings and safe uses on the inside of the bath on a sticker. Of course common sense is required when aspects like water are present. This bath is only to be used by adults, children are not to be left unattended at any point whilst in the bath, and you must follow the guidelines.
The bath has an attractive shape that is easy to get in and out of a bath tub and easy to fill. It has a handle for ease of lifting when it is empty. There is an easy lift able drain in plastic covering holes in the base, when bath time is finished it is easy to drain the tub without the need of tipping or lifting. This innovative pull tab is ideal for everyone to use because it’s so easy to use.

This bath is very functional without taking up lots of space in your home. You can easily hang it on the back of the bathroom door when not using it. Our son was 8 months old at the time of testing and he sits comfortably in the bath and is even able to touch the sides. He found it good fun to be able to sit unaided by us due to the insert in the base, and he enjoyed the water.
My son demonstrates how a baby would sit inside the bath tub so you can see without any water inside. Their bottom goes behind the inserted structure and the foam keeps them in place. The drain can be seen at his feet.
Overall I am happy that I have had the opportunity to review this item, and because it is good for babies up until the age of a year we still have plenty of time to use and enjoy it. You could even pop it outside on a flat surface in the summer months and use it as a pool type of thing. It has a non-slip base and is sturdy when placed upon a flat surface.

My Opinion on the April 2019 Contents
My opinion on the April box is a mixed one. I think the 4 prints are an excellent idea and make for a nice change to the usual singular print. Socks are lovely and good quality. Tea bags are always fun, and if you don’t like that flavour a nice gift for someone. The felt kit was a new and unusual addition, I’m a big fan or art and craft so I hope to get around to doing this in the next month or two. I know it must be hard to come up with new examples of items that still fit inside the treatbox, so this was great! We have already had bath bombs in the past and facial sponges and the like, so I was disappointed that we didn’t receive a second new product, one not previously seen in a box. I do believe the brand is also replicated and isn’t even a variation to previous.
Despite loving the boxes over all and love reviewing them, I am seriously considering terminating my subscription, because I am using less and less of what is being posted out each month. I plan to run a couple of blog giveaways this Spring and Summer, I’m sure a few items will be from prior boxes. While the next boxes arrive and I will review them, I will decide after those contents whether or not to continue.

It’s actually easier than you think to improve your well being. I began to do these things last year and am happy to say that I achieve most of these most weeks still.

✩ Staying active is easy providing you stick to what you’re able to do. Even a ten minute walk is better than not walking at all. Other easy exercise includes gentle swimming and cycling. However if you’re generally a healthy person you might want to take up a new hobby this summer, walking outdoors is often free to do. You can make it fun for children by playing Spotting or Eye Spy games. ✩ Reading more is something I’m passionate about myself and I aim to increase mine even further. Whether you read the news, a book, a magazine, you are still working your brain by reading the words, and looking up words you don’t know is also beneficial. But more than that you are exercising your brain and taking in knowledge, despite what you read, a physical book or on a screen, it’s still reading.
✩ Eating well is so important anyway for your health, but portion sizes and proportion is vital. You need a good ratio of the main elements of food types as well as the right sizes of these types. Your 5 fruit and vegetables a day is also a key element in keeping your body healthy.
✩ Climbing a couple more staircases every day rather than taking the easy routes of lifts and escalators is something to consider. Your heart rate increases when you climb inclines or stairs, this is classed as exercise, even if it only takes you one minute to do the task. Stairs are also good for using muscles in your legs.
✩ Your mind needs to remain healthy too, and one way you can accomplish this is by trying something new. Whether it’s a hobby or activity, playing a board game or simply going somewhere new. New things stimulate your brain.
✩ No matter what kind of day you have, a busy day, a slow day, a stressful day or a day of fun! You should do one thing that you love each day. This is more for a sanity reason, but we all get busy and chores and work come ahead of what we want to do or love to do. For example, I love to play games, so I allocate twenty minutes in an afternoon or evening where I play Scrabble on my mobile phone. It’s not just something I enjoy but it also stimulates my brain by getting me to think.

Don’t try and accomplish all of the sections above in the same go! Perhaps do one a week and then see if you can achieve it again the following week. Also my tip is to pick the one you believe is most achievable to you!

I was so lucky to have won this backpack last Autumn, and I was ecstatic about the quality and the size. I can go out for the day with one bag for all things. I am able to fit a huge amount in this bag, and I will list the items below for those who are interested.
This bag was Oxblood coloured Genuine Leather and features two main compartments accompanied by several pockets that are zip protected. All the space and different areas to store items help with the general organisation of the bag itself.
This leather bag has been award winning for Kerikit and is not just great for busy parents but anyone who likes a quality leather bag with tons of space. The one I was lucky to win was Oxblood but they currently supply a Nude or Tan shade of leather Thor bag.
The Thor features two large internal pockets that are separate. The main one has fabric divided into five sections so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. It has fabric inside it that is waterproof and the outer leather is easy to wipe clean and maintain.
Two long leather straps at the back allow the bag to be carried on ones back, or you could place it in the bottom of a pram, or even use the hooks situated either side to hook on to pram hooks at the handle bar.
The back pocket section of the bag has a keys ring and luggage hook so they won’t get lost in the depths of the backpack.
The fabric itself has a stylish pattern on it and its colour makes it easy to see things when looking inside the bag.
In addition to the main part of the bag there are four zipped pockets, one horizontal compartment either side and one secret pocket at the back part situated vertically. These are all good sizes and add to the bags surprising versatility. Finally you will the fourth inside the main compartment, ideal for small medicines or valuables.

Overall I am so happy that I won this beautiful backpack, and I adore the colour too. It has now been up and down the country with us and it still fits everything inside it that we need, despite my son now being 8 months of age and us needing to take more things with us.
What I usually carry inside the bag on a day out includes a change of outfit for baby, his bottle of cooled boiled water, a bottle of water for myself, sweets and snacks for longer days out, 4 nappies (minimum), a packet of baby wipes, two creams, nappy sacks, 2 bibs, spare socks, a packet of tissues, 2 muslin cloths, spare top for myself and breast pads, one of his toys if not two, and finally a plastic bag for placing dirty items.
I can fit in the bag additionally items you would usually find in a ladies handbag, such as wallet, lip salve, toiletries etc, as sometimes I don’t want to carry more than one item. This does make the bag quite full up but it still closes due to the nature of the drawstring and magnetic stud.
My final review scores for the item are; Quality 5/5 Design Practicality 5/5 Design Fashion 5/5 Value for Money 5/5
The 3 outer zipped pockets are really handy, especially this one situated at the back of the bag. The leather is beautiful too.

Jewellery Box UK New Purchases Review & My Custom Pieces
I always buy my earrings from Jewellery Box UK but lately I have been looking at some of their other items. Some I had previously bought and have now considered getting them as gifts for others, due to their excellent quality but also their affordable prices.

Happy Treat Box Day! It’s the first of March 2019! I’m so happy to be able to bring you this Reveal on the first day of the new month. March is also my birthday which is next week! So this feels like an extra gift and present from myself to… well, me!

My Thoughts on the March Box
I really liked the theme of Spring and Flowers. The box was well executed with the items combining well together, something to eat, something to use, something to do and something to look at. Over all the box has several items that are good quality, either made using British products or made within the United Kingdom. It’s nice to have something for the home that is really useful, the tea towel is especially nice, very Spring worthy, with bright colours and a nice happy pattern. I like the idea of the colour by numbers print this month. I also really like the idea of growing the Lavender. Hopefully it will work as it’s one of my favourite flowers and I would love to plant the seedlings in my garden once they’ve grown large enough. I will make some images of my progress using these Treatbox items on my social media, as always.

The Minky Organiser is a great product for those who have plenty of electronic hair products that require a safe and tidy place to be stored.
The Minky Rose Gold Styling Dock Bedroom Organiser is something I hadn’t ever considered that I was missing in my life until doing this review. Not only is it Somewhere that is handy to store my electrical hair products when in use and awaiting usage too.
I’m also impressed with the added extras like the plastic pots at the front for hair clips and grips etc. It’s a well thought out design with the added bonus of looking like a fabulous on trend piece with the colour being black and rose gold.
The Minky Styling Dock is an organiser ideal for all your heat styling product needs. It’s something I hadn’t ever considered I was missing until this review. It’s handy to store my electrical hair products after use due to its heat resistant silicone body & is great for storing items awaiting use too. I’m impressed with the added extras of pots for clips & grips.
Overall it’s a well thought out design with the bonus of looking like a fabulous on trend piece with the colour being black and rose gold. It’s a reasonable price for all that you can store inside it.
The Dock can withstand temperatures up to 230’c because of its Silicone lined Body and Heat Resistant top part. Your tools will cool down safely when you’re in a rush to get out of the house and the silicone is also gentle on your hair tools to prevent marks.
The Hair Clip Pots Are Very Handy.

A great way to enjoy some tasty Chinese style cuisine this week is to do it yourself. To celebrate Chinese New Year I thought that I would share my own recipes with you all. Many people think it’s a complicated type of cuisine to make but if you’re good at following step by step recipe guides like mine, then you can create my delicious dishes in your own kitchen!
In today’s blog post I’m going to outline some of my own tips and tricks, as well as share my own recipes on how to make some flavoursome Chinese meals. Follow my instructions as much as you can, and substitute the meats for other meat or fish or a vegetarian alternative where I indicate you can with this symbol ⇕ . You can decide which of the sauces you’d rather make too, I will show you a few.
Why not give some cooking a go this Chinese New Year week! I’ve worked out that you can make 4 of my dishes for 4 people, plus a bowl of Sabrina’s Special Egg Fried Rice, for around £6.50 per person. That’s a heck of a lot cheaper than ordering in! On average a dish from a Chinese Takeaway comes in at around £7.00 in most parts of the UK. You can have 3 dishes and a rice for the same price! All you have to do though is cook it!

Remember that for some of these items you will have leftover amounts of them that you can use the next time that you cook Chinese food, such as the Petit Pois, the Rice Wine Vinegar, the Cornflour and the Soy Sauce.

I have worked out that your shopping list will cost between £27 and £30 depending on supermarket offers and whether or not you pick those offers or brands versus own brand. I shopped at Tesco but prices are similar else where when I looked online. For 4 people this equals approximately £6.50/£7.00 each, that is for the 4 people to have 3 Chinese Dishes and Rice.
TIME TO COOK
How To Make The Crispy Meat Element of the Dishes.
One of the most delicious parts of Chinese food is crispy strips of meat seasoned with Chinese spices. You can pick up a jar of Chinese 5 Spice for less than £1 in most supermarkets, and because it’s so strong in flavour it goes a long way.
Options for this type of meal are… Crispy Beef in Sweet Chilli Sauce Crispy Pork in Sweet and Sticky Sauce
Ingredients
Meat In Strips (your choice from Shopping List) Cut It If Not Already 5 Tablespoons of Cornflour 3 Tablespoons of Chinese 5 Spice
How To Prepare
You need a small saucepan that you pour oil in to until it is around an inch deep. You need to heat this on a hob until it’s very hot before you place meat inside to fry. The Meat Strips take around four minutes to cook through depending upon their thickness, so always test one piece before you do the remainder. You will also need several pieces of kitchen roll/towel to place your fried goods upon to drain and soak up any excess oil.
In bowl number one you need to place the cornflour and Chinese 5 Spice, mix it using a spoon. You need to coat each piece of meat in this mixture, by adding meat slowly a few at a time, once coated place them into the hot oil and time them frying. Remove them from the saucepan using a spoon or spatula with holes so as to drain the oil. Dry the strips on some towel until they are ready to mix with your chosen sauce.
A great way to use up those Takeaway Sauces you get given is to use them like I did to make a Chinese Sauce. See my image below…
How To Make Chinese Sauces
Here are my recipes for some sauces and stir fry meals I love to make. They are easy to follow and take around half an hour to prepare and cook.
There is one sauce that I always buy because it is more expensive to try and make it, that is black bean sauce. You can pick this up in most supermarkets for between 35p to £1.50. Packets or Jars depending upon if it’s for a one off dish or for several if you wish to make it again. Black Bean Sauce is the Perfect accompaniment with Chicken.
Chicken in Black Bean Sauce Serve this with chunky chopped Onions, ribbons of Carrots and sliced Green Peppers.
Crispy Meat in Sweet Chilli Sauce Serve with Carrot Ribbons, Onions and a chopped Chilli Pepper. 2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce 2 Tablespoons of Tomato Sauce 4 Tablespoons of Sweet Chilli Sauce 4 Tablespoons of Rice Wine Vinegar
Crispy Meat in Sweet and Sticky Sauce Serve with fried peppers and onions. 1 Tablespoon of Garlic 2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce 3 Tablespoons of Tomato Sauce 3 Tablespoons of Sweet Chilli Sauce 4 Tablespoons of Rice Wine Vinegar
Chicken Chow Mein Sauce with Onions 1 Tablespoon of Garlic 1 Tablespoon of Ginger 3 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce 2 Tablespoons of Sesame Oil 5 Tablespoons of Boiling Water 1/2 A White Onion Chopped Chunky & Fried Add other Veg as Optional Extras
Add the Chow Mein Sauce to pre-cooked Rice Noodles or Thin Egg Noodles and your already fried and seasoned meat. If you want a richer flavour then marinate the chicken in soy sauce for an hour prior to frying it.

Sabrina’s Delicious Stir Fry
You need 2 pans. Once prepared fry all your Vegetables together in a little oil. In the other pan, take some of the garlic, ginger and spices and add them to season your main element while you cook it, don’t forget to season with pepper and salt. Once everything is cooked combine the main and the vegetables. Add your noodles and a splash of boiling water to the pan. Stir fry until cooked, serve immediately.
Meat / Fish / Vegetable of your choice (Main Element) Shallots OR White Onion 2 Tablespoons of Ginger 2 Tablespoons of Garlic 2 Peppers – 1 Yellow & 1 Red – Sliced Long Ways 1 Tablespoon of Chinese 5 Spice – Season Chosen Main Noodles of your choice Add Spring Onions too if you like Onion as much as I do for a pop of colour!
Fry all these tasty vegetables together to begin your Stir Fry.Soy and Chilli Chicken Stir Fry with Onion, Yellow Pepper & Egg Noodles.
How To Make Sabrina’s Special Egg Fried Rice
Egg Fried Rice is relatively easy to make and is a great accompaniment to lots of Chinese dishes. You can partially cook this dish too to save time! Cook the rice either on the hob or preferably in a Rice Cooker if you have one. Then you’re ready to begin.
Ingredients
Jasmine Rice – 300g – 400g Cooked 2 Tablespoons of Oil 2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Peas or Petit Pois – 1 Small Cup – 150g approximately Spring Onions – 4 to 6 Chopped Up – 100g plus Scrambled Eggs – 3 Medium Eggs season with Salt, Pepper & Soy Sauce to your tastes
Method
In a large frying pan add oil soy sauce and garlic, then fry the Spring Onions and Peas together. Add the Eggs (previously whisked in a small bowl) and scramble together using a wooden spoon on a high heat. Turn the heat down and add the cooked rice. Hello and Welcome to the February 2019 Treatbox Reveal with Sabrina of Severn Wishes Blog.
Happy Treat Box Day! It’s the first of February 2019! I’m so happy to be able to bring you this Reveal on the first day of the new month.
As I open the box I notice that it is heavier on one side and this intrigues me. The little sticker reads “You Matter” and the tissue paper is dark pink.
We all know of a few dates that occur during this month including Valentine’s Day and Shrove Tuesday, so let’s see if any of these will feature in the February Treatbox this year…

My Thoughts on the February Box
I really liked the theme of women, strength and love, ideal due to Valentine’s fast approaching. There are useful items inside like the pad of notes, sanitiser and calendar. The Original items like the bag makes the treatbox unique. My favourite items from the February box are the bag, trinket dish and the hand sanitiser. Plus it’s always nice to have an edible item too!
