December 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the December 2018 Treatbox Reveal
with Sabrina of Severn Wishes Blog.

Happy Treat Box Day! It’s the last Treatbox of 2018 and it’s the Christmas box!

The little sticker is a stag on a winter scene with pale yellow tissue paper.

I have been very much looking forward to this box, it had been delayed due to Zoe awaiting an item, and you know that Zoe puts a lot of effort into every single month of Treatbox, therefore I eagerly wanted to know what it could be…

Without further ado, here are all of the contents of the December 2018 Treatbox.

This month there are 4 physical items, plus 12 square card prints accompanied by 10 golden pegs with string, plus a Calendar Print and an A5 Print.

Calendar Print for December 2018
A5 Print – Rocking Around The Christmas Tree
Twelve Square Card Prints Designed by Treatbox for Christmas Time
11 Golden Pegs with a Piece of Green and White String
Treatbox Designed 2019 Diary and Planner
Gnaw Chocolate Bar – Winter Wonder
Vitamasques – Cranberry and Apple Sheet Face Mask
Teeny Bobeenie Boutique – Snowberry and Mistletoe Wax Brittle
Selection of Christmas Related Sequins Thrown In For Fun

Here is a selection of my photographs of this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close.

My Favourites

My favourite pieces in this box have to be the Diary/Planner and the original cards. You can’t go wrong with chocolate and pamper products. I’m hoping to get some evenings to relax once the main Christmas days have been and gone, and enjoy what has been discovered in my box. The 12 cards are very sweet and awesome for making a home Christmassy and bright.

My Overall Opinion

I really loved the Treatbox originals and unique items this box. Once again we have lots of effort that has been applied and a theme that is well thought out. You can apply your face mask and eat your chocolate whilst writing your Christmas Cards for example…
I appreciated that this box was delayed, however I was more than happy with the content, it was worth the extra few days wait. This Treatbox has certainly ended the year on a high, and I look forward to the January box.

November 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the November 2018 Treatbox Reveal
with Sabrina of Severn Wishes Blog.

Happy Treat Box Day Everyone! It’s the last Treatbox of the year before the Christmas box!

This month the Treatbox UK theme is “Freedom and Me Time”.

The little sticker reads “With Love” attached to a deep navy blue tissue paper.

Here are all of the contents of the November 2018 Treatbox.

This month there are 6 items in the Treatbox plus a Calendar Print and an A5 Print.

Calendar Print for November 2018
A5 Print – Definition of Hygge
Treatbox Colouring Book featuring Treatbox drawn pictures
Set of Colouring Pencils
Pair of Socks – Polar Bears Design
Treatbox Rose Gold Heart Wish Bracelet
Spacemasks – Interstellar Relaxation
Kiwi Slice Eye Pads

Here is a selection of my photographs of this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close.

My Favourites

My favourite pieces in this box have to be the Colouring Book with Pencils, the Socks, and the Bracelet. As a mum to a young baby I don’t get much time to do things like face masks anymore! Ha! Ha! Maybe one day I can get an afternoon to myself, have a pamper! And with that in mind I hope that they will keep! It’s a lovely idea for a proper pampering though!

My Overall Opinion

I enjoyed the fact that we had several Treatbox Original and Unique items this month. The bracelet is beautiful and the over all quality of the items is good. Although we only received socks in the September box I do love socks, I always have cold feet and you always need quality and cute socks! Especially now with Winter fast approaching, Socks are indeed wanted!

October 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the October 2018 Treatbox Reveal
with Sabrina of Severn Wishes Blog.

Happy Treat Box Day Everyone! So it’s officially Autumn (as of a few days ago) and we are all counting down to the next “Holiday” which of course is Halloween!

This month the Treatbox  is “Positive Vibes” and as Autumn begins… leaves are changing and the nights are drawing in. Colder days are upon us and I hope that this box will reflect this seasonal transition…

The tissue paper is pale blue as I opened this box. The little sticker reads “Hello You”.

Here are all of the contents of the October 2018 Treatbox. Remember to check your calendar print information because there are often variations in some items with their flavour or their colour for example.

This month there are 5 physical items in the Treatbox plus a Calendar Print and two A5 Prints as well.

Calendar Print – October – Smile! Leaves changing…
2 A5 Prints – “Be Kind” & “Do It For Yourself”
Coaster “Good Vibes” – exclusive to Treatbox
Dark Grey Scarf – 100% Polyester
Vitamasques – Sleep in Mask – Made with Avocado
Kokoa smooth Venezuelan Hot Chocolate Stir-Ins! We get 3 in the Packet and they are 58% Cocoa.

Melting Pot Fudge – Traditional Butter Flavour – made in Ireland

Here is a selection of my photographs of this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close and if you have any questions about any of them please leave me a comment at the end of the post, I will do my best to find you an answer.

My Favourites

My favourite pieces in the box this time have been the Grey Scarf, the two Prints and the Hot Chocolate Cocoa Stir-Ins. I cannot wait for a cold afternoon where I can enjoy the hot chocolate. The prints are always great for building positive thoughts through ones day.

My Overall Opinion

I really liked that the box resembled (in my opinion) an afternoon of relaxing. You could go for a walk with your lovely new Scarf keeping your neck warm. Once home you make your Hot Chocolate, while it’s too hot to drink you stand your mug on the Treatbox Coaster, enjoying eating the bar of Fudge as you relax in your favourite chair.

It was great to try new brands and new things in this month’s box as well.

The scarf is nice quality and soft to the touch, and I liked the over all positive theme.

September 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the September 2018 Treatbox Reveal
with Sabrina of Severn Wishes Blog.

Happy Treat Box Day Everyone! I have been looking forward to this box, the end of Summer and beginning of Autumn is usually a beautiful transition in the United Kingdom. I am hoping this box will reflect that…

This month the Treatbox UK theme is “Staying Cosy” as our Summer ends and Autumn begins…

I adore Purple and was happy to see a deep Purple tissue paper as I opened this box. The little sticker reads “Happy Post” and it certainly is!

Here are all of the contents of the September 2018 Treatbox. Remember to check your calendar print because there are often variations in some items with their flavour or colour for example. This month there are 7 items in the Treatbox plus a Calendar Print and an A5 Print.

Calendar Print for September 2018 – Heart

2 Pukka Tea Bags – Cranberry, Rose & Vanilla Flavour
Purple “Baked Apple” Scent Circus Wax Melt 20g
Popcorn Shed “Pop N Choc” Bag of Gluten Free Popcorn
Vitamasques Peaches & Honey Hand Mask
“Stay Cosy” White Pillowcase
After Spa Magic Makeup Remover Cloth
A5 Print – “Take A Deep Breath, Let Out All The Stress, You Deserve To Be Okay!”

Here is a selection of my photographs of this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close and if you have any questions about any of them please leave me a comment at the end of the post.

September 2018 Treatbox UK

Hand Printed at Treatbox HQ!

My Favourites

My favourite pieces in this box were the Pillowcase and the Popcorn. The print was of good quality as always too.

I really liked that we had a few things we hadn’t had before in a box, such as the Popcorn Brand and the Hand Mask – something I had not tried previously. Having the opportunity to try a hand mask made from Korean beauty is great. The pillowcase was a nice addition this month and something that everyone can use.

My Overall Opinion

What I liked was the theme for this month, being “Cosy” as Autumn draws in sounds wonderful. Although I felt the items themselves lacked something special. Cosy for me is a candle and a blanket, or at least a scarf and something warming. I felt like a Candle would have fitted the theme better than a Wax Melt, and that the Tea was a good addition for the warming element of this concept. However in my opinion there could have been a little more thought into this months theme.

I wasn’t a fan of the Wax Melt, I still haven’t used any of the other melts I’ve received in Treatbox, they simply go into a box for me to re-gift to others during the year. I would have loved more Popcorn too! One small bag of it (considering the grams) just seemed such a shame! The fact that the Popcorn was Gluten Free was a great bonus though!

August 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the August 2018 Treatbox Reveal
with Sabrina of Severn Wishes Blog.

Happy Treat Box Reveal Day Everyone! I have been so busy (and exhausted) these last few weeks with my newborn baby, and I am bringing you this Reveal a few days later than planned. Remember if you follow me on social media like Instagram, I usually post things there first, so keep in touch that way if you always want to be first to find out what is inside subscription boxes such as this one.

This month the theme is “Botanical”!

Behind the lush grey shade of tissue paper and the sticker this month that reads “When life gives you lemons make lemonade” and through the paper I can see an array of leaf related patterns!

Here is a list of all the items contained in the August 2018 Treatbox.
(Remember they can always vary slightly such as the quotes!).

This month there are 6 main items in this Treatbox plus a Calendar and an A5 Print.

August Calendar Print
A5 Print – “Today”
Set of “Happiness” Cards x 10
Blank A5 Notebook “Turn Over A New Leaf”
Pink Quote Pencil “You Can Plant A Dream”
Anatomicals Botanical Purifying Tea Tree Face Mask 25g
Shobu Bathbomb for the Shower
Lunch Bag/Cool Bag made from Recycled Materials – Botanical Design

Here is a selection of my photographs of this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close and if you have any questions about any of them please leave me a comment at the end of the post, I will do my best to find you an answer.

✩✩✩

My Favourites

My favourite pieces in this box have been the “Happiness” cards and the Lunch Bag. I’m always happy to use items that have been fully or part made from recycled materials, and I’m always happy to support British business as well.

The cards are well designed and printed to a high quality, inspirational and unique to Treatbox which makes them extra special. Now that I’m a new mum I’m finding things like Cool Bags very useful. I currently have a bag of drinks and snacks in three rooms of my house, so wherever I might end up for breast feeding I have a bag of supplies ready to help me through the times ahead.

My Overall Opinion

What I enjoyed this month was a theme that was well thought out and the actual botanical theme was intriguing. I wondered what sort of things would fit into this category, but actually it all worked well. I liked the uniqueness of some of the products because they have been designed and created at Treatbox HQ!

I’m looking forward to using the two skincare items (when I get fifteen minutes to myself) and hope that they are as relaxing and as self caring as they seem to be on their packaging.

For those of you who don’t know I had my baby in July, and he wasn’t too well at the beginning. He is making great but slow progress now thank goodness. So it has meant that my blog has had to really take a back seat, more so than I had originally anticipated it would. Hopefully once our routines are established I can get back on track with two posts a week, but until that time it looks like it will just be the one post. I hope to continue with Treatbox if I’m able to in both time and of course financially. But my little boy comes first from now on, as many of you can understand.

July 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the July 2018 Treatbox Reveal
with Sabrina of Severn Wishes Blog.

Happy Treat Box Day Everyone! I have been looking forward to this box, it’s arrival comes just before my baby is due! So I was hopeful I would still be bringing you this unboxing as a full reveal. And you’re in luck!

This month the theme is an “Ooo La La” – French Themed!

Bonne Treatbox journée!

As I open pale yellow coloured tissue paper with a sticker that reads “Bonjour” I am already excited, because Paris is one of my favourite places on Earth!

Here are all of the items in the July 2018 Treatbox. (Remember they can vary slightly!).

This month there are 7 items in the Treatbox plus a Calendar Print and an A4 Print.

Calendar Print for July 2018 – Bonjour with Hearts
2 Treatbox Badges – French Inspired Badges
Navy with White Polka Dots Coin Purse
Biscuit – “La Vie Est Belle”
Pair of Pink and Navy Blue Eiffel Tower Socks
Decoration – Sass and Belle White and Gold Polka Dot Frame
Bubble T Lemongrass and Green Tea Flavoured Macaroon Shaped Lip Balm
A4 Print white with navy writing “à la belle étoile”

Here is a selection of my photographs of this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close and if you have any questions about any of them please leave me a comment at the end of the post, I will do my best to find you an answer.

My Favourites

My favourite pieces in this box have to be the Coin Purse, the Socks, the Photo Frame and the Badges. I love anything that has a French theme, so this entire box is right up my street.

I really liked that we had new items this month because I don’t recall having a coin purse in my time of receiving Treatbox. Something to wear like socks are always a lovely bonus. I would personally rather have a nice item like the photo frame than two more perishable items for example.

My Overall Opinion

What I loved this month, was both the theme and the items. In fact there isn’t an item that I don’t like! The overall quality is good and I had already planned to use two of the products before I had even finished photographing them individually.

June 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the June 2018 Treatbox Reveal with Sabrina of Severn Wishes Blog.

Happy Treat Box Day Everyone! I have had a busy weekend with family, I realise I am bringing you this Reveal a few days later than usual, sorry! I do hope that you’ll still enjoy my review.

This month the theme is Sunshine and Gardening! When I open up the box first of all I can see the Calendar Print staring back at me and also a pretty A5 print too!

As I open bright pink coloured tissue paper with a sticker that reads “Bloom Where You Are Planted” I can see a variety of bright items.

Here are all of the items in the June 2018 Treatbox. (Remember they can vary slightly!).

This month there are 7 items in the Treatbox plus a Calendar Print and an A5 Print.

Calendar Print for June 2018 – Sunflowers
Treatbox Sunflower Seeds
Treatbox “You Are My Sunshine” Wish Upon A String Bracelet
Summer Meadow Citrus Scented Mini Wipes
Decoration – Garden Plaque “In Our Garden We Plant Dreams & Grow Miracles”
Meal Planner and Shopping List Notepad
Vintage Looking Slanted Tweezers
Merci Handy – Hand Cream
A5 Print – “Bloom Where You Are Planted” with Flowers

Here is a selection of my photographs of this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close and if you have any questions then please leave me a comment at the end of the post, I will do my best to find you an answer.

My Favourites

My favourite pieces from this box are the Seeds, Meal Planner Notepad, Wish Upon A String and the Print. All these items are good quality and worthwhile to have or to use. I have always liked the idea of Wish On A String Bracelets and the Print is lovely. I will definitely be using the Planner because I generally am an organisation freak so this is perfect for my lifestyle! The Seeds are a great addition to the box this month, something that you can enjoy as a family and an activity like planting gets you outside and enjoying fresh air too – a bonus!

My Overall Opinion

I really liked the theme this month with sunshine and gardening, two things I love! The items were a nice mixture of things this month, things to do, to wear, to keep and to enjoy. Nothing stood out to me particularly but I also thought the quality overall was good. There were a couple of items that were “new” as in we hadn’t received anything of this kind while I have been subscribed. This was a nice bonus this month and I’m happy that the majority of the June box will be used and enjoyed by my family and I.

May 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the May 2018 Treatbox Reveal
with Sabrina of Severn Wishes.

Happy Treat Box Day Everyone!

I’m so glad to be bringing you this box actually on May 1st!

So I open the box to find bright yellow paper, this is such a happy colour anyway and reminds me of sunshine!

In this month’s Treatbox we see a theme of Personal Happiness. This theme is enhanced by a Checklist Print which has been arranged to incorporate the items we have received inside the Treatbox. Clever! I like new ideas!

What you won’t see this month is the usual Calendar Print… that is because Zoe has reinvented it for the May box! Instead we are greeted with a Smoothie Recipe on the back of the description of what is inside the box. As I read what is to be discovered I realise that the print has been altered for this month, we have the

Here is my list of all the items in the May 2018 Treatbox.

As always there are some slight variations in the types and in the colours, usually people get a slightly different combination inside their box.

Inside the May month’s box there are 7 flat items plus 6 physical items. You’ll understand when you see my list and reveal photograph.

Calendar Checklist Print for May 2018
Strawberries and Cream Smoothie Recipe
Anatomicals – Strawberry and Yarrow Face Mask – 15ml
Card “A Little Something To Brighten Your Day”
The Little Coffee Bag Co. Bag of Blend 1 and Bag of Blend 2
Gnaw – Strawberry and Vanilla White Chocolate Bar – 50g
Tote Bag “Out With The Old Bag”
Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber – Mild
Affirmation Inspirational Quote Cards – 4 of them – Calm / Smile / Breathe / Believe

Here is a selection of my photographs showing the items from this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close and if you have any questions then please leave me a comment at the end of the post.

Calendar Checklist Print for May 2018

A great idea for this month’s box, tick list and ways to make your day positive.

Strawberries and Cream Smoothie Recipe

I will have to adjust this smoothie recipe so that it doesn’t include any nuts, but happy to try it then! I love smoothies in the summer months especially if it’s hot!

Gnaw – Strawberry and Vanilla White Chocolate Bar – 50g

I am very much looking forward to trying this chocolate. it’s made in the UK as well which is great! A decent serving of 50g I may have to eat it in two parts!

Anatomicals – Strawberry and Yarrow Face Mask – 15ml

This face mask looks like it will not only smell good but do my skin some good too. Once I have used it I will update this section.

Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber – Mild

I don’t use an exfoliator very often but with summer coming up I may try it out.

Card “A Little Something To Brighten Your Day”

A lovely little card which can be sent to someone to, well, brighten up their day!

You could create something lovely inside this card because it is left blank for us to do so.

The Little Coffee Bag Co. Bag of Blend 1 and Bag of Blend 2

Once my husband has tried this coffee I will update this sentence.

Tote Bag “Out With The Old Bag”

This tote bag feels like it’s good quality material and is quite a substantial size which is great too. I believe it to be a cotton blend which means you should be able to machine wash it on a gentle and low temperature setting if it were to get dirty.

Affirmation Inspirational Quote Cards – 4 of them – Calm / Smile / Breathe / Believe

These little cards are fabulous for my blogging, for flat lay images and for affirming moments during a hectic day. I love how colourful they are as well, they really brighten up whatever you’re looking at with them on.

My Favourites

My favourite pieces from this box are the Inspirational Affirmation Quote Cards, the Face Mask, Calendar Checklist and the Chocolate Bar.

I love that they are mainly UK companies, I also love the quality of the majority of the ingredients in this box. I will be reviewing some of the items and those opinions will be added underneath the images of the products as and when I try them.

This Treatbox is a bit different this time but I have really liked it! I look forward to progressing though the checklist and I will no doubt share my thoughts on my social media as the month goes on.

My Overall Opinion

I really liked the theme for this month and that the whole box was just a little bit different. It’s always nice to have something new, the face mask and the chocolate are products made in the UK as well. And if you didn’t know by now, I am hugely supportive of local and United Kingdom based businesses.

Something else I liked was the way the theme was used throughout with the use of the new calendar idea. It gives you an excuse to use the print and the products from the box too! It gave you some good ideas for other days of the week as well, and you could always mix it up a bit and do several on one day if you wanted to!

There is only one thing that I’m going to have a tiny moan about, it’s just my personal opinion so you can take it or leave it. In my time being subscribed to Treatbox we have received several bags, I don’t mind too much that we have another one, as it is of good quality and will be used. However all I will say is I just hope it will be a good many more months before we see another…

Finally, it is a shame that once again a couple of this month’s products are nut containing or may contain nuts, it means that in our house these items have to be avoided and are always gifted to family or friends due to our severe allergies. I know that that isn’t the fault of Treatbox, but I almost wish that when you subscribed, you had some personal preferences added to your personal information. This would mean you would get a slightly varied product but one you could actually eat or use… It’s just something that Treatbox could consider branching out for in the future maybe…

At the end of the day I cannot be the only subscriber who has allergies and I would love to get your opinion if you read this and you have some too. It’s not like I have a choice in the matter and I’m not being deliberately awkward, in my house nut containing products are never purchased for either oral consumption or for use on the skin for example. We all have to be very careful and we often have lifestyle changes that others may not consider…

So the Decaffeinated Coffee Sachet will be passed on to someone who can thankfully enjoy it. It looks like (from Zoe’s description page) that the Caffeinated Coffee Sachet just contains Arabica Coffee Beans and should be fine for my husband to drink. When he has tried it I will update the review part of this blog post with his opinion. I must say i am disappointed there was no information supplied on the coffee sachets, if Zoe had not written the blurb in the description we never would have known and this could have caused a reaction. Everything should come with ingredients on them in my honest opinions.

UPDATE
Zoe has since contacted the manufacturer of the Coffee Sachets (Little Coffee Co.) and they say that there are no nuts used in their coffee, however the flavouring is that of Walnut for the Decaf blend we received. Anything of a nutty flavour can trigger anaphylaxis in those with severe allergies so even though the coffee claims to have no actual physical traces of nuts, the flavour can still be enough to make my husband unwell.

April 2018 Treatbox Reveal

Hello and Welcome to the April 2018 Treatbox Reveal
with Sabrina of Severn Wishes.

Happy Treat Box Day Everyone! We are now a quarter of the way through 2018, I don’t know about you but it’s flying by for me! My babies due date is fast approaching as is the summer! Hopefully the weather will start to improve though, am I right?

This month’s Treatbox we see a theme of Adventure and Nature.

So I had to video myself sitting in front of the camera for this reveal. I don’t usually do this, but I don’t have much choice because now as I’m too large to lie beneath my tripod as I would usually do to record my reveals. It will probably be a nice change for those of you who follow my blog to see me, and you’ll have to let me know what you think and if you prefer it!

As I open the April Calendar Print and read about the contents of this box, I can see some items I look forward to trying. Some look like they are of good quality and intrigue me. The sticker for this box reads “Life is a Beautiful Adventure” and without any further ado I begin to part the light green tissue paper…

Here are all of the items in the April 2018 Treatbox. As always there are some slight variations in the types and in the colours, usually people get a slightly different combination inside their box.

Inside the April month box there are 6 main items plus an A4 Print and the Calendar Print…

Calendar Print for April 2018 – Everyday is an Adventure
A4 Print “Wild and Free”
Hanging Banner with Scenic Landscape “And So The Adventure Begins”
Treatbox Pin and Card “Be Brave”
Sass and Belle Passport Holder – Pineapples
Sass and Belle Nail File – Round Globe / Earth – Wander
Seacret – Mud Soap 30g Bar – Minerals from the Dead Sea
Seacret – Cuticle Oil 30ml – Minerals from the Dead Sea

Here is a selection of my photographs showing the items from this month’s box, I hope you enjoy seeing the items up close and if you have any questions then please leave me a comment at the end of the post.

My Favourites

My favourite pieces from this box are the Banner, the A4 Print and the Pin.

I already have ideas for the Banner, which I outlined on the video when I recorded the Reveal. I would love to hang it on my child’s bedroom wall and perhaps get a Map of the World poster to go alongside it. I love the detail and it is a good quality item too!

The A4 Print and the Pin are both right up my street, I love anything with Arrows and they remind me of my time doing Archery when I was younger. The Pin is always a nice item to have. I said in my Video how we have a Giant Cuddly Bear with an old T-shirt on, and how he wears all of the pins that my family buy, receive or collect with pride.

My Overall Opinion

I really liked the theme for this month, it is that time of year that most of us begin to plan our summer adventures, and if I wasn’t already having the biggest adventure of my life (having my baby of course!) then I would have no doubt I would be in this category too.

The adventure element is one I believe in, life is too short not to be enjoyed at all opportunities. Whether you can afford to go away or not, you can still build adventures in and around your home and lifestyle.

I was impressed to see items that I hadn’t heard of, I look forward to trying the “Seacret” they are intriguing items and seem to be good quality from reading their packaging. The overall products are good and I cannot wait to use the prints and other adventurous pieces around my home.

Unfortunately I won’t be using my Passport this year with having my little one, but the Pineapple Holder will no doubt go in a drawer safe for next year when I can hopefully get away with my family.

It’s the end of my second year of blogging and I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a Giveaway! I have also decided to reach out to some more brands this year due to my lifestyle changes happening in the summer!

If you have enjoyed my blog and supported me over the last how ever many weeks or months I am certainly grateful!

I’ve had another successful year of blogging and reviewing, and I wanted to share some of the success with you, my loyal followers.
