If you are looking for immersive sound with excellent quality, and a twin set of speakers that can be attached to a wide variety of products in your home, then look no further than the A20’s from Fifine. With built in RGB bars on the front of each speaker unit and a simple USB and Audio Jack attachment, it was effortless to unbox and get them working with an uncomplicated start up.
The A20 speakers are not only compact and a beautiful shape that can be used in a vertical or in a horizontal style, but they have slick black casing with light up centres which make them look very appealing too. As for the quality of the sound it is incredible, you hear every note in detail no matter how quiet or loud you like to have your sound effects. You can use these speakers in a variety of set ups such as with a pc or laptop, on a television or using consoles and mobile phones (providing that each one of these has a headphone jack cable insert and a USB port). Ensure whatever you are plugging into isn’t higher than 5 volts and you’re good to go.
So far I have used them on my television for sound from my PlayStation console whilst gaming, as well as on my HP laptop to listen to music or watch a film. Both versions sounded amazing, I was hugely impressed with such small devices. They stand at just under 13cm when vertical which meant they fitted alongside my consoles on my television stand and I didn’t need to move much around – brilliant! I’m so glad my television had a spare USB port at the back! I also set them up around my laptop on my table and they stood either side of it which allowed for a more immersive sound from either direction. I played music, soundtracks, gaming themes and more on them and everything was so wonderfully clear.
I love how the speakers have plenty of cable length between them so as to fit either side of most people’s technology arrangement. If your layout allows for it, not only can you easily have a speaker on both sides when gaming or enjoying music or movies, but you can also customise the colour of the light bar too. There are various modes which include moving light shows which is so fun, watch it cycle through blended or not, or up and down, tons of choices. This allows you to alter the speaker system to your own personal tastes. Keep them one solid colour too if you wish to like blue or red or purple, or choose a mode which suits your mood or what you are doing / listening to.
When I was gaming I chose to have them with moving lights in mode 2 which is a blended colour altering and rotating. When I was watching a film however I had them as a static colour, purple one night and blue another. There are 7 main colours to them, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Purple and Pink. It was fun to test all the modes and decide what I liked best, and they are lovely and bright and vibrant too. Simply tap the light icon which looks like a sun that is situated on top of the right speaker, and it changes the mode. Long press to turn the light sequence on, and then short presses to cycle into the various modes and colours. When you turn them off when you’re finished, the speakers remain on the mode you last chose, so you can alter it again if your mood has changed since their last use.
As you can see from my photographs the RGB mode is bright and it really stands out against the jet black speaker and its casing. Every single colour mode type is the same in that instance, vibrant and the control was simple to alter them too.

What I Love
The A20 Speakers don’t take up much space which is great for me, they are really easy to set up and change between my laptop and my television and console, and I had no issues whatsoever in doing that. As I’ve already mentioned the sound quality is excellent no matter where I plugged them in. The base is strong; there is clarity between music depths and vocals or dialogue (in the case of movies or gaming). There is also plenty of cable so they can be adjusted amongst your television stand or desk arrangement, it was more than adequate for my 40 inch television and stand. Each speaker is fairly heavy and therefore sturdy, I do not worry about my pet cats knocking them over or anything. Overall I am very happy with all aspects of the speakers and they excel at their function.
Could Anything Be Improved
I don’t feel like anything could be improved, for speakers as small as these (13cm at the highest point) their sound is brilliant, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were across genres. Some people might say they need to be larger, but for my personal set up they are perfect for me in every way. I only have one suggestion for future versions which is; I would have loved to have seen a small remote control with them, so I could alter the volume or the colour bar from the comfort of my sofa, but that’s not a big thing, and it’s a joy to have them on in my home when I’m doing my hobbies. They have definitely made movies and games more enjoyable because I hear more of the sound now I may have missed before.
I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to enhance their gaming experience by having a more immersive sound quality and the fact that they are USB compatible means they can be used across a wide variety of devices. This isn’t just for gamers, it’s for anyone who wants to have better sound from their many different gadgets. Having tried these out with many genres I can safely say that I have been impressed across the board, the definition of sound, sound effects and dialogue is clear and concise and improved my gaming experience. Music also sounds brilliant through them, and as a writer I often put on soundtracks to set the mood, the A20’s really allowed me to become immersed in the sound as I worked, they are excellent quality speakers.
