Gift Company is a wonderful UK based and family run company that prides itself on providing unique and quality\u00a0giftware<\/strong>,\u00a0homeware<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0furniture<\/strong>, to the people of the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

They also have a huge range of Christmas related stock and a wide range of items that would make awesome gifts too. Available both in stores and on their website. Item Details: This plate has some nice details of silver highlighting and is made up of twenty thin layers of paint. The picture is gradually built up over time and each layer hand painted, making it a unique item. Its main colours are beige, blue, black and silver.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Overall I am happy with the scores I have given this plate. The 5\/5 may seem a bit extravagant but it’s a hand painted item, for a great price. You’re getting a unique piece that is well made and has several uses. As a decorative piece you could lay it flat or purchase a plate stand (Gift Company also sell these). If you were using it to serve things on just remember that it is hand painted and therefore needs to be used with care. There are twenty layers of paint on this plate, it is built up to create the finished scene. It does have foam feet on the underside so it can be safely lain flat.<\/p>\n

If you require a plate stand for the item you’re buying then Gift Company also sells them. You can buy the small or large version depending on the dimensions of your plate. I was sent the Small version for my Butterfly plate.
